Privacy Policy

Last updated 30 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information Huskar Send collects, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. We’ve written it to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are

Huskar Send is a product of Tesark Technologies Pvt Limited (“Tesark”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in India with its office at 1400, 4th Street, Golden Colony, Tamil Nadu 600050, India.

Tesark is the data controller (a “Data Fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) for the personal information described in this policy, except where we act on your behalf as described in Data inside your templates.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to:

  • this website at send.huskar.io;
  • the Huskar Send application at send-app.huskar.io (the “Service”);
  • emails and messages we exchange with you about the Service.

Huskar Send designs and publishes Amazon SES email templates. It does not send email, and it does not access your recipients or mailing lists.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account information. Your email address and the details needed to sign you in, and the name of your workspace.
  • Template content. Templates, blocks, subject lines, sample data profiles, and imported HTML that you save to your workspace.
  • AWS connection details. A nickname for each connected AWS account, the AWS account ID, region, the IAM role ARN and ExternalId, and the SES template names you publish to. See Your AWS account.
  • Billing information. If you buy a paid plan, your name, email, billing address, tax details where applicable, and payment records. Card and bank details are entered with our payment processor, Razorpay, and are not stored by us.
  • Messages. What you send us through the contact form or by email, including your name, email address, company, and message.

Information collected automatically

  • Activity records. A record of each publish to SES (who published, when, and what changed) and basic account activity, so we can show history, warn before overwriting changes made in SES, and investigate problems.
  • Technical and error data. When something goes wrong in the Service, our error monitoring provider receives diagnostic information such as the error, browser and operating system, device type, the page involved, and an account identifier.
  • Server logs. IP address, request time, and request details, kept for security and troubleshooting.

Guest use

If you use the editor without signing in, your templates are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device and are not saved to our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes them. Error diagnostics may still be sent if the editor fails.

How we use information

  • To provide the Service: sign you in, save templates to your workspace, render previews, and publish templates to your SES account when you ask us to.
  • To keep the Service secure and reliable: detect abuse, investigate errors, and keep audit records of publishes.
  • To process payments, issue invoices, and meet tax and accounting obligations.
  • To reply to your messages and send service emails, such as sign-in links, receipts, and important changes to the Service or these policies.
  • To improve the Service, using aggregated or de-identified information where we can.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your template content to train machine learning models.

Under Indian law, we process personal information on the basis of your consent, which you give by creating an account, using the Service, or contacting us, and for other legitimate uses permitted by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, such as complying with law.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service); our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Service, replying to enquiries); compliance with legal obligations (tax and accounting records); and your consent where the law requires it.

Service providers and sharing

We share personal information only with providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing services to us:

ProviderWhat they do
SupabaseSign-in and storage of account and workspace data.
RazorpayPayment processing for paid plans.
Error monitoring providerCollecting diagnostics when the Service fails.
Cloud hosting providersHosting this website and the Service’s infrastructure.
Form and email providersReceiving contact form messages and delivering service emails.

We may also disclose information if required by law or a valid legal request, to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or Tesark, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.

Your AWS account

When you connect an AWS account, you create an IAM role using a CloudFormation template we provide. The role trusts only Huskar, and only with an ExternalId unique to your connection. It can manage SES email templates and read SES account status. It cannot send email, read recipient data, or access any other AWS service.

Each publish uses temporary credentials that expire in 15 minutes and are never stored. AWS calls we make are logged in your own CloudTrail. You can end our access at any time by deleting the CloudFormation stack.

If you choose to connect with access keys instead of a role, we store those keys so we can make publish calls on your behalf until you disconnect the account. We recommend the IAM role.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The Service uses cookies and browser storage that are necessary for it to work: keeping you signed in, remembering editor preferences, and storing guest templates on your device. Because these are strictly necessary, we don’t ask for separate consent. If you block them, the Service may not work.

How long we keep data

  • Account, workspace, and connection data: for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or de-identify this data within a reasonable period, unless we need to keep some of it for the reasons below.
  • Publish records and security logs: for as long as needed to operate and secure the Service and resolve disputes.
  • Billing records: for the period required by Indian tax and company law.
  • Contact form messages: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.

Security

All traffic to the Service is encrypted in transit with TLS. Access to templates is scoped to your workspace, so users only see their own workspace’s templates. AWS access uses short-lived credentials as described above.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

International transfers

Tesark is based in India, and our service providers may process information in other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we do so as permitted by applicable law and with safeguards appropriate to the transfer, such as contractual commitments from our providers.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and get a summary of how we process it;
  • correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • delete your information, or your account;
  • withdraw consent, which does not affect processing that happened before;
  • object to or restrict certain processing, and receive your data in a portable format;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated (India);
  • complain to us, and to a data protection authority, including the Data Protection Board of India or your local supervisory authority.

You can export your templates at any time from the editor. To exercise any other right, email hello@huskar.io. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we’ll respond within the time the law requires.

Data inside your templates

Templates and sample data profiles may contain personal information that you choose to add, such as example names or addresses. For that content, we act on your instructions as your processor, and you are responsible for having the right to use it. We recommend using fictitious sample data rather than real customer records.

The recipients of emails you send through Amazon SES are your contacts, not ours. Huskar Send never receives their addresses or the messages you send.

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new “last updated” date, and if the changes are significant we’ll tell signed-in users by email or in the Service before they take effect.
